This series of data was created based on the Air Dose Rate Measurement in Whole Japan and Fukushima Prefecture (Realtime Distribution System) that is publicly available in the Monitoring Information of Environmental Radioactivity Level website of the Nuclear Regulation Authority. This data converts 1μGy/h (micro Gray per hour) = 1μSv/h (micro Sievert per hour).

Measurement Results of Air Dose Rates Nationwide and in Fukushima Prefecture (Real-time Distribution) Daily Average ( From April 2018 to August 2018 )
  1. This data was created based on the results of "Measurement Results of Air Dose Rates Nationwide and in Fukushima Prefecture (Real-time Distribution)" released to the public in the Monitoring Information of Environmental Radioactivity Level portal site by the Secretariat of the Nuclear Regulation Authority.
  2. Although both fixed mount type monitoring posts and portable monitoring posts measure absorbed dose rates [μGy/h] (micro Gray per hour), the data of monitoring posts are released to the public as effective doses with unit of μSv/h (micro Sievert per hour) using the conversion defined by the Guideline for Environmental Radiation Monitoring (Nuclear Safety Commission): 1 μGy/h (micro Gray per hour) = 1μSv/h (micro Sievert per hour). On the other hand, ordinary survey meters and the Real-time radiation measurement systems installed in Fukushima Prefecture measure the 1 cm dose equivalent rate [μSv/h] (micro Sievert per hour). Usually, The 1 cm dose equivalent shows a higher value than the effective dose nevertheless both units are [μSv] (micro Sievert).
