The Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency has been conducting a Fisheries Agency commissioned project "Consequence Analysis of Radioactive Substances" and a Great East Japan Earthquake subsidy project "Behavior Investigation of Radioactive Substance in a Marine Ecosystem" since just after the Great East Japan Earthquake and has been releasing results obtained by these projects. This data was prepared based on survey results of sea areas in the Radioactivity Response of the Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency (FY2016) publicly released in its website.

Survey Results of Radioactive Substances in Aquatic Organisms Fiscal Year 2016 ( From June 2015 to November 2016 )
  1. This data was prepared based on survey results of aquatic organisms in sea areas by the Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency (FY2016).
  2. The measurements obtaining these data were conducted to better understand the present conditions and show perspectives by clarifying radioactive cesium behavior in ecosystems through collecting radioactive cesium concentration data and precise data of stable isotopes in aquatic organisms, their preys, and habitat environment.
Publicly available data collected from the website of the relevant organizations and converted into CSV, XML, and KML formats that were easy to use.
