This is a data set of soil classification in which the grid was derived from Standard Grid Squares (Third Area Partitions with a side of about 1km) by subdividing each square into a 10 × 10 grid with a mesh size of 100 m × 100 m. This data was based on the "Attribute 1" of soil classification data in 1:200,000 Fundamental Land Classification Map by the National Land Information Division of the National and Regional Policy Bureau in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The soil classification at the center of a grid was defined as an attribution of the grid.
Publicly available data collected from the website of the relevant organizations and converted into CSV, XML, and KML formats that were easy to use.
