This choropleth map displays the detection rates (proportion of the total number of tests per year which exceeds the maximum limit) for the municipalities in 10 class color scale.
The detection rates of radioactive iodine above the maximum limit were only calculated for the municipalities that made 10 or more tests.
Based on the provisional regulation value under the Food Sanitation Act, samples of which the radioactive iodine concentration was 300 Bq/kg or more were determined to be in excess of reference value.
